1. The Barbados Tourism Authority has developed an electronic business platform (www.bajanclub.org) which provides capability to disseminate information on Barbados and travel to Barbados to interested parties and stakeholders.


2. Any person who accesses and/or utilizes the information presented on this Web site (“the Information”) shall be deemed to be acting on his or her own judgment and at his or her own risk. While the Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA) strives to ensure that the Information is accurate and up-to-date.
   Neither BTA nor any holder of copyright to the Information shall be held responsible in any way whatsoever for any loss or misunderstanding, either direct or indirect, that is incurred as a result of utilizing the Information.


3. This policy is applicable to all users who make use of the Bajan Club website.


4. Users registering on the Bajan Club website may be required to provide personal information.


5. The Website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.

The website requires you to supply us with your contact details, but we will only use this information for the purpose of sending you correspondence from time to time, which relates to offers or promotion the Barbados Tourism Authority may be running. It will NOT be used for any other purpose.


7. The BTA reserves the right to discontinue the operation of the website at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.


8. In principle, the contents of all pages on the Bajan Club site are copyrighted by Barbados Tourism Authority. Unauthorized use of any text or image from the pages of the Bajan Club site is prohibited.


9. This Web site is comprised of original components made through a process of intellectual and/or creative effort (Components). The Components include written texts, items of music, pictures, photographs, computer programs, editorial items, databases, etc., as well as secondary related items in each category. Legal sanctions may be considered in any instance involving infringement of copyright resulting from the transfer, duplication, transmission, broadcasting, distribution, loan, translation and/or alteration of a Component or Components without the express written permission of BTA as well as of any other party possessing relevant rights.


10. Unauthorized use of content from the Bajan Club website in other media, including, but not limited to, newspapers, magazines and email newsletters is prohibited.


11. The BTA has implemented reasonable security measures in order to protect both personal and non-personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. BTA employees are made aware of and are accountable for compliance with our privacy policy.
